1/4" scale model for Eugene O'Neil's play "Moon for the Misbegotten."

For those of you who haven't read it or seen it, GO SEE IT! But good luck finding a production near you; it's not done very often. :)

It's a beautiful play, and terribly sad.

For the set, I wanted to create an atmosphere of quiet despair (the palette was inspired by the paintings of Edward Hopper,) and an openness, sort of a "lost in no-where" feeling.

Edward Hopper, ftw!
I'm working on a selective realism design for "Streetcar" for a class project right now. It can be really awesome and sometimes kinda difficult.
This is beautiful, though! Makes me want to see the play. Legit, this shot could make for a fabulous poster.
